This book seeks to provide an overview of deportations based on three years of field experience on the southern border, led by the Center for Sustainable Development (CEDESO), in the context of recent, more restrictive migration policies.
It is aimed at defenders of migrants’ rights and official bodies involved in these processes and seeks to provide a snapshot of our perception of the situation at the end of 2022, through our support for the people who are affected: men, women, boys, girls, and adolescents. As well as pointing out some regulatory and procedural inconsistencies that could be used for relevant policy dialogue, this book sets out recommendations to further promote some of the good practices already underway in this area.
